Fertility Yoga

In this 6-week fertility yoga series, you will learn a wide range of mind-body techniques to help support you on your fertility journey. Taught by Lauren Enright, natural fertility expert and fertility doula, each week’s theme-based class will provide an opportunity for fresh insights on your lifestyle and fertility practices.

Learn to Meditate

With Nancy Zagbayou

  • A 4-week series on Wednesdays from 7:30 – 8:45 pm
  • February 26th to March 18th, 2020
  •  $90 + tax for the series.
  • This series takes place at our NDG location – 2023 Decarie Blvd.

Learn to meditate in the traditional Buddhist style. Meditators have long known what science is now proving: meditation dramatically reduces stress, pain and anxiety while increasing voluntary concentration, creative thinking and feelings of genuine compassion and joy. It trains our minds to be focused, present, calm and balanced under all circumstances. The result is peace of mind that is independent of external influences. After learning the theory and proper meditation technique, participants will have a chance to practice meditating, followed by a question and discussion period.


Yoga Nidra Through the Koshas

This 6-week course in iRest® Yoga Nidra will open the gate to meditative self-inquiry. We think of Yoga Nidra as the ultimate in meditative relaxation, and it is. Studies have proven that it induces a deep relaxation of the body and mind, as well as reducing stress, anxiety and fear. Break free from old patterns and rediscover your innate ability to recognize and engage in authentic behaviours fitting for each life situation.

Advanced Postures: Inversions

With Nancy Zagbayou

  • A 4-week series on Tuesdays from 6:30 – 8:00 pm
  • March 3rd to March 24th, 2020
  • $95 + tax for the series.
  • This series takes place at our Mile-End location – 4812 Blvd Saint Laurent, #101

In this series, each class will start with a posture demonstration, as well as an anatomical and emotional exploration of the pose of the week. Three gradual stages to get into the final posture will be offered so that everyone can experience the fun of the inversion of the week! Nancy will be sure to give plenty of directions and hands on assistance so that everyone feels safe and comfortable. 


Stronger Together

With Lauren Enright

  • A 4-hour workshop for expecting parents from 1:00 – 5:00 pm
  • Saturday, March 14th, 2020
  • $140 + tax per couple
  • This series takes place at 2000 Northcliffe in NDG

This course is recommended for any pregnant person and their birth partner (does not have to be a romantic partner) who are keen on strengthening their bond during pregnancy in order to face the challenges of birth and parenthood. New or seasoned parents during any stage of pregnancy are welcomed, no matter where you plan to give birth.

Yin Yoga & Ayurevda

With Geneviève Adams

  • March 19th to April 9th, 2020

  • This series takes place at our NDG location – 2023 Décarie Blvd

This series, designed to help you transition gracefully from winter to spring, will explore cleansing and revitalizing pranayama breathing, deep and fluid Yin posture sequences, self-massage techniques, and meditation to alleviate stress – leaving you feeling rejuvenated and warm from the inside out! Each class will also include Ayurvedic principles and rituals. Ayurveda is the world’s oldest system of healing, which invites us to take a seasonal approach and be an active participant in our own journey toward balance, peace and wellbeing.


Laughter Yoga

Laughter Yoga is a unique exercise routine developed by physician Dr. Madan Kataria in India. It  is a modern exercise involving prolonged voluntary laughter. This type of yoga is based on the belief that voluntary laughter, combined with yoga breathing (Pranayama), provides similar physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter. If you are feeling stressed, anxious or would just like to just add more laughter and joy into your life, come and join us! 

Yin & Massage

With Christine Guenette

  • April 1st to April 22nd, 2020

In this traditional Yin yoga practice of passive, long-held stretches, registered massage therapist and yoga teacher, Christine Guenette, will provide you with tension releasing massage and therapeutic touch in the postures. Relax and restore with this blissful mix of stretching, relaxation and soothing touch.


Prenatal Yoga

Relax, connect, stretch, build strength and bond with an intimate group of other pregnant mamas. Based on a different theme each week, this series will teach you postures, mindfulness and breathing techniques useful for pregnancy, labour and beyond!

Warm & Cozy Restorative Yoga

In this special Warm & Cozy Yoga series, deep relaxation will be achieved through long-held postures where the body is supported by accessories such as bolsters, blocks and blankets. The floor will be padded and the space heated to 26 degrees so that participants may comfortably release muscular tension and melt away their stress. Enjoy some quiet time of introspection at the end of your week and start the new week clear and more focused.


Mindfulness Training

Mindfulness is a way of self-transformation through self-observation and the practice of meditation. When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future. Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens. It also involves acceptance, meaning that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them—without believing, for instance, that there’s a “right” or “wrong” way to think or feel in a given moment. In teaching the mind to be present, we are teaching ourselves to live more mindfully — in the present, taking a breath, not beholden to reactive thoughts and feelings — which is particularly helpful when faced with challenging circumstances or difficult situations.

Mom (or Dad!) and Baby Yoga

A perfect outing for mom (or dad) and baby! Tone up, relax, socialize and deepen your connection with baby. The first half of class is dedicated to stimulating baby through movement, massage, coordination and song. Then, moms and dads will benefit from yoga exercises that will help strengthen the core, tone the entire body and rejuvenate the mind. Socialize before and after class over a cup of our complimentary caffeine-free yogi tea!
